NETWORKS AND CENTRES
Selected research networks and centres are also supported through Danish development assistance. An overview of the Danida supported networks and centres is presented below.
Networks
The objective of research networks is to strengthen the dissemination of research as well as cooperation between research and development assistance environments. At the moment, the following three networks receive support. They may be contacted for information about their services and activities.

Centres
In period of 2008-2010 three centres receive support from the development assistance through performance contracts. They all belong under the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
Forest and Landscape – comprises, among others, the former Danida Forest Seed Centre.
Danish Seed Health Centre for Developing Countries – comprises, among others, the former Seed Pathology Institute for Developing Countries.
Centre for Health Research and Development – the former Danish Bilharzias Laboratory.
