TRAVEL GRANTS FOR STUDENTS WORKING ON MASTERS THESES

The overall objective with the travel grants is to strengthen the Danish resource base within the field of development research by giving the master students a possibility to do relevant field work in developing countries.

In order to be considered, the student must be enrolled in the last year of graduate school at a Danish university. Furthermore, the thesis of the applicant must be relevant to Danish development assistance, be minimum a month in length and be approved by a university advisor. The application must be submitted before the field work is started. The field work must not be completed before the deadline is expired. The scope of the travel grant cannot exceed 15.000 DKK

In 2010 the application deadlines are 3rd of May and 1st of November at 12 am.

Danida Fellowship Centre is administrating the travel grants yet the research networks will still be involved in the final selection of grant recipients.
