The objective of the bilateral track is to 1) establish a basis for improved dialogue with countries in the Middle East, and to 2) support existing local reform processes in the region. A number of country specific and regional programmes that focus on local challenges and thematic focal areas have been launched.
The Multilateral Track
Denmark has in assistance with other countries worked for a closer economical and political cooperation with countries in the Middle East.
Analysis of Partnership for Progress and Reform (the previous name of the programme - May 2006)
In April and May 2006 a comprehensive examination has been undertaken with the aim of summarizing the lessons learned during the pilot phase of the initiative (2004-2005) and to provide recommendations for the future of the Partnership for Progress and Reform.
