JOINT EXPORT PROMOTION

Joint export promotions enhance enterprises visibility on the export markets and their ability to penetrate these markets.

Typically a joint export promotion centers on a fair, exhibition or seminar in an export market. These initiatives can be combined with individual contact meetings or company visits abroad.

The objective of each firm is to create opportunities for new contacts or expand existing contacts with business and partners in the export market. Danish Trade Council supply operational subsidies associated with planning and implementing joint export promotion expenditures for exhibition material, market research, joint PR and marketing materials.

Facts about joint export promotion

Danish Export Council conducted 97 promotions activities in a total of 35 markets in 2008
Approximately 1,200 companies participated in the joint export promotion initiatives in 2008, 63% of these companies were SMEs
Reports have shown a satisfaction rate of 94% among the participating companies

An analysis conducted by Rambøll Management, have shown that export revenues of approx. 4.5 billion. kr is due to joint export promotion initiatives (conducted from early 2006 - early 2008). This corresponds to an export effect gain of 1.8 million. of each participating company.
