A survey authorised by the Trade Council of Denmark shows that there is an untapped export potential in Danish small and medium sized (SMEs) enterprises of up to DKK 28 billion annually.
Our experience shows that assistance on export markets is especially in demand by small and medium sized enterprises. It is our aim to help SMEs at all stages of their export and internationalisation.
More than 400 companies made use of the Trade Council's special SME Export Start Programme in 2002.
SME Portal
Our SME portal received a record number of visits with an average of 11,000 per month in the second half of 2002. We are happy that SMEs are taking up the Trade Council's SME offers and we will continue with the popular Export Action Plans in 2003. We have 11 experienced export consultants who, free of charge, assist in working out export action plans and provide various export advice.
