TORCH TO DOCTOR FROM TCHAD
Doctor Grace Kodindo received the MDG3 Torch from Minister for Development Cooperation Ulla Tørnæs for her efforts in Chad to lower the rate of maternal mortality at a arrangement attended by Crown Prince Mary.
Dr. Grace Kodingo, who is an obestetrician, is the main character in the BBC documentary “Dead Mums Don’t Cry” which investigates why more than half a million women die every year in pregnancy and childbirth, which Grace Kodindo daily fights against.
